We are trying to find information regarding the global land use other than for food purpose (e.g. textile or energy purposes) currently and in the past.

We would like to analyse the impact that the overgrowth of the textile industry will have in food prices worldwide in the near future.

Thank you for your message. the detail of the land used by crop is not collected under the land use dataset.
However area harvested of crops is available in the production dataset at: http://faostat3.fao.org/download/Q/QC/E by selecting element area harvest and Items aggregated – primary crops >.
