Extracting data to excel

Hello,

I have a question about the extraction to of data to excel. Whenever I download data from FAOSTAT to excel I get all the data in the first column like this: Food Balance Sheets,"World","Food supply (kcal/capita/day)","Grand Total","1961","kcal/capita/day","2196" , This is all in my A column in excel but I would like to see every unit in another column. Like world in A, food supply (kcal/capita/day) in, Grand total in C, etc.
Is it possible to download the data that every unit is in another column?

Kind regards.
Kyco

Dear Kyco,
Thank you for your message. Let's try this :

Depending on the user’s Excel, the default options for opening csv files may be different. If the results are shown in a single column in the Excel sheet, the following method will split the data by column:
•Click on the column containing the data
•Under the Data tab, select Text to Columns
•Choose Delimited as file type
•Choose Comma as Delimiter
•Then click the Finish button

After you have tried this please let us know how you get on.

Best regards,

I would like to see "column 1 -cell 1" together with "column 2 -cell 1" on Page 1 of the flash card
best would be this way one under another :
"column 1 -cell 1"
"column 2 -cell 1"
how can I do this?
